The Pure Michigan campaign is one of my favorites. The writing in the televisioin spots like the “14 Clubs” one below is brilliant. Sure, they are a blatant rip-off of the monologues from “A River Runs Through It,” but I don’t mind. They capture the depth of those monologues. They show that there is poetry in places.
I know that there are places in Wichita that can inspire this sort of reverential prose. How great would it be if someone actualized the story?
