The Wichita Art Museum
is fantastic. The museum’s collection is worth the price of admission, not to mention the gallery exhibits that they are able to bring in to share with the community. I have always loved the WAM because it is largely inviting. I’ll grant that the whole “art museum” aura is a bit intimidating. But, if you take the time to visit the museum, that quickly fades. What becomes apparent is that the staff and volunteers at the WAM are passionate about art and giving others the opportunity to learn about art.
So, when I read about an initiative to raise awareness about the WAM through public art, I can’t help but share it. Read the article here:

Go to the museum. Take a friend. Then tell people about it.
